The gap is both reel and real. It is sad and indeed shameful of the blatant disregard with which the mentally unwell are portrayed in our movies. A perspective that is symptomatic unfortunately of our society at large. Good stuff.

A gap that is unfortunately symptomatic of our society at large. Hollywood doesn't create it but only makes adds false legitimacy by and incorrect and tragic portrayal of the mentally unwell. Good stuff.
